Boston 2014 Journal Part 2- Cool Names

As I've mentioned in past journals, I am fascinated by maps. Especially when planning a vacation that involves all 6 of the New England states, I've learned a lot just by studying maps, and even better than that, I've discovered even more of the coolest names of towns, cities, even streets. Here is a listing of the coolest I've seen so far:
Kittery
Kennebunk
Sandwich
Nantucket
Nobscusset
Mystic
Chappaquiddick
Sleeping Giant State Park
Pawtucket
Merrimack
Camels Hump State Park
Bangor
Allagash

There are just so many interesting place names, I could go on and on, but lucky for you, reader, I won't!

I am now merely a week away from my journey, and not a panic attack in sight!! My first trip to NYC had my head spinning and heart pounding with fear the day before...but I think so much of that was the unknown. I have gained a lot of experience with travel since then, although the airplane part is still going to be a somewhat new experience, since it's been 28 years!!

My general plans are made, many lists completed, even a bit of packing is done! I've signed up for all the pertinent electronic tools to make the adventures go smoothly, put my little numbered stickers on my map, and I feel that the bulk of my planning is complete!

And so the week countdown begins.....
